Bellevue Custom Home

The homeowner came to me wanting a contemporary home- but something that would shine as much as their family of 7. Out-going, sociable, and family-friendly were the top three requirements of the interiors. The concept for the space considered a clean, neutral palette, and pops of color were brought into individual spaces to add a touch of boldness. Each space has its own unique character yet flows into the whole unified space. Great thought was put into the interior architecture – soffits, built-in cabinetry, and other details- they define the spaces and create interest. The large open basement was left that way to allow for large social gatherings, yet clearly defined areas were created within the space for for the family in everyday living. A bar in the basement adds function to this large space- housing a refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, and sink. Upstairs in the main living areas, the kitchen is as glamorous as the homeowners. The quartzite and granite counter tops and splash are low maintenance, and the acrylic and textured laminate cabinets are low care as-well. The professional style cooking equipment is necessary for such a large family – and a 3’ refrigerator and 3’ freezer seamlessly blend in with cabinet fronts. Lots of eating spaces keeps this family on the fly together.
