This amazing Northwest Contemporary home on the lake was built as an investment property. The desired vibe was a warm, neutral, but modern space that would be timeless. Natural wood tones and materials provide warmth; while the sleek white counter top and light paint palette keep the space modern and fresh. The budget was strict and tight, so inexpensive materials used in creative ways helped bring this project to life. A floating, heavy counter top in the powder room with wall to wall tile, a cedar accent in the barrel ceiling of the master bath along with floating mirrors, and a built-in bench and shelving in the mudroom are just a few examples of how innovative design can be used to compensate for budget. The final product is cohesive design throughout the entire home.
