In our recent renovation, we transformed a conventional space into a contemporary haven, seamlessly merging functionality with modern aesthetics in the kitchen and family room. The primary focus was to create an inviting, versatile space for the family, blending custom design elements and innovative materials.

The kitchen underwent a significant upgrade, featuring custom cabinets crafted from glass and textured laminate. A bump out of 2 feet was executed, enlarging the space to accommodate a generously sized family island. To evoke a striking visual contrast, the cabinets and countertops were deliberately selected for high contrast, infusing the area with dramatic flair.

The slab backsplash and window wrap introduced clean lines, offering ease of maintenance while harmonizing with the diverse cabinetry styles. Strategic accent lighting and a dramatic ceiling soffit enhances both functionality and aesthetics. For the purpose of entertaining larger gatherings, a thoughtful addition of a small dry bar was added functionality and storage.

The family room received an impressive overhaul, centered around a linear-style fireplace with a stone mantle, designed specifically to accommodate a TV mount above it. To ensure a cohesive design narrative between the kitchen and family room, built-in cabinets were tailored for storage and display. These cabinets were customized to complement the kitchen aesthetic without appearing overly uniform, striking a balance between coordination and individuality.
